Honors Day awards highlight UMMC students' singular achievements

The weeks leading up to Commencement are otherwise known as "Honors Day Season" at UMMC, when students who excelled in the classroom, in the clinical arena or at the research bench receive special recognition from their respective schools. Check below to see who got tapped for high achievements this academic year. 

School of Dentistry

School of Dentistry student achievements were recognized during the school's annual Honors Day celebration May 7 in classroom R153 (lower amphitheatre).

The school will host a special honors convocation and banquet for graduating seniors May 23 at the Marriott in downtown Jackson.

School of Graduate Studies in the Health Sciences student achievements and those graduating from the SGSHS in 2019 were recognized during the school’s annual Honors Day celebration April 25 in the student union.
